The four Italian style terraces built in the XVIIIth Century provide a green setting for the orangery. When the weather permits, cocktail receptions can be held on the lawns between the maze and the Princes' garden. Games are often organised on this same lawn when club or professional meetings are held here.
The orangery ideally lends itself to receptions for around 100 guests. Cocktails can be served indoors if necessary, followed by dinner which is usually served on round tables seating 10 people. The evening is often extended with entertainments and dancing.
For meetings, 150 people can easily be accommodated in the orangery which can be laid out amphitheatre-style, and the double curtains mean the room can be darkened for projectors. Meals can then be served in the chateau reception rooms.
